But as fuzzy bunny and gushy as I could get about the shower, the thing that's got me beginning to relax and gain some peace of mind about the next few months is mom's visit. She's been here just a few days and has been chore-sharing and helping out and little things like... well... you know DINNER and DISHES all happen just a little more smoothly when shared among 3 adults than they do when shared among 2. I started dinner for last night on Sunday and mom finished it during the day yesterday and it was ready when I walked in the door and somehow cleanup seemed to happen without stressing anyone out completely. I don't know. It was just I could see how the months mom's offered to give us helping out with the kid are going to be a huge gift. The difference between sanity and being a complete wreck. Yay, mom.
