I was in too much of a hurry for my regular telemarketing-is-evil tirade, but I have to say:
Dear Mr. ReMax Realtor:
I have long considered your organization's marketing techniques to be sub standard. Your logo is unattractive. Your advertising is cheap looking and now you have confirmed my opinion that your outfit is low class by adding cold calling to your sins. I would never hire a realtor without a recommendation from a friend unless I was desperate, and even if I was desperate the fact that you called my house unsolicited would instantly land you in the weeded-out pile as I do not employ people who think harassment is a useful way of drumming up business. The very idea that I would turn over the names of my FRIENDS to you simply because you had the effrontery to ask for them is amazing.
I would not do them the disservice of sending any organization with so little class their way.
