I know I've been kind of quiet, but it's been a useful sort of quiet. A whole bunch of work got done this week. I only just wish I felt like it was enough. The shed is half shingled and all sided. The nursery is 90% painted. Ceiling, trim, and all rolling except the purple wall are done. If tonight we manage to finish it, we can start unloading the COPIUS amounts of crud, mostly baby related that are currently inhabiting our guest room so that when Ann, John and Sam come to see us next Saturday they have somewhere to sleep. Day care provider appointments are set up, Quicken use was reinstituted in our household. A huge trip to priceclub brought us food. Laundry was done. A new refrigerator arrived to replace the leaky behemoth.
We set up an appointment with a realtor to sell our house in Alexandria, we came to an agreement about how to proceed with selling our house in Alexandria, we added another wedding to the schedule (GACK!) and we think we might even know when we're having a baby shower.
Progress. Progress. I'm counting through the list so that people who wonder why they never see us anymore at least know it's not because we're doing anything social without them.
