Reed left yesterday morning for that cesspool to end all cesspools, Trooper, Pennsylvania and I seem to be categorically unable to get anything done without him. Last night I took care of the animals, ate smoked turkey and half a pimento cheese sandwich standing up in front of the fridge, and watched a terrible movie with an all-star cast called House of the Spirits in which Jeremy Irons, Merryl Streep, Glenn Close, Wynona Rider and Antonio Banderas ALL sucked.

What I should have been doing was cleaning up so that we can have company on Thursday and not be embarassed as Paula hasn't been to our house in almost a year and it would be nice to show it off well. A LOT has changed since she saw it last. I went to bed early thinking I'd get up early and be at work to make up a few of the hours I'm lacking this pay period, but couldn't sleep because Reed had said he'd call and he didn't until like 10:45. I was way out of proportion angry, but he obviously already felt bad, so what do I say?

Anyhow, this minutia of my life can't possibly interest you all. Go do something real.
