Anyhow, Reed and I put up curtain rods in the living room and fussed around with sample curtains, one of which worked and the other of which will have to be returned. The living room is starting to look like someplace we live instead of someplace we camp out. I do worry, though, as I look around. There is no way this place is going to get properly baby proofed. Never. We can't bolt some of the bookshelves to the wall without destroying them. Books are all going to be capable of being pulled off the shelves on top of shorty. The little bugger is going to be able to rip curtains down from walls, too. It's also going to be able to bite electrical cords. In Darwin we trust, eh?
There was a reason we wanted to be parents. Can someone remind me what it was??
