I think I've managed to find some less-than-disgusting maternity clothing, for about a month from now when I can't zip my jeans any more. The market for this stuff seems incredibly under served though. Most of what's out there is ridiculously expensive (165 dollar jeans at Pea in the Pod for godsake -- 300 dollar cardigans that arent even cashmere!!) or sold for people with bizarre personal agendas (a desire to wear something that is both skin tight and off the shoulder while 8 months pregnant just seems odd to me -- maybe I'll feel like a sex goddess then but I doubt it) or hellishly unattractive in that June Cleaver in the 21st century kind of way. Mercifully, Gap Maternity is priced like ordinary clothing, not hideous and since they're only available on line they take all their return shipping for free. It aint exciting, but I'm not being forced to wear pastels with babies or ducks printed all over them.
Nothing much else to report except screaming insomnia that has me a bit zombie-fied right now. Whatever.
