- Friday night was our 5 year anniversary. Having no baby sitter, we ate indian food in front of the fire and toasted marshmallows and made smores.
- By 10pm, I was having gastrointestinal meltdown and so was Betsy (who had no indian food but nursed and must have gotten something from me or vice versa.
- Saturday our entire afternoon was soaked up by admittedly a very cool visit from the Bullington-Maguire household during which Richard tried vainly to get his dns2 server back up on our network.
- During said visit, the overexcited dog crapped liberally and liquidly all over the newish diningroom rug.
- Saturday night's date plans were killed by Reed's mom calling 3 hours ahead to let us know she was sick. No new baby sitter was forthcoming in spite of a rather long roladex.
- Sunday a walk with Betsy up to our favorite coffee shop with the Akawies turned into a complete Betsy overtired meltdown.
- The dog crap did not steam clean out of the rug. Mmmm...
- Reed managed to figure out by self-experimentation that what gave me mild stomach trouble on Friday must have been the vegitarian indian dish we'd ordered. He ate the leftovers and, as it had two days to get more poisonous, was violently ill all night last night.
- Betsy pointed to the duck in her Find the Duck book and said "Duh" which I hereby take to mean Duck.(Don't argue with me.) Note: She had never pointed before. Only used her whole hand to gesture at things.
- When I asked her if she wanted to go to her bed (she was lying in ours) last night she said distinctly "Tired".
- When I asked her to come to me this morning, she distinctly said "Okay" and then leaned forward towards me.
