A post that's not a complaint
So, in between bitching about my car and my project (which issues we largely talked through and at least acknowledged today) I have actually had some fabulous fun in the past few weeks.

Memorial day weekend I cut off all my hair. I mean ALL of it. Now I remember why I wore my hair short for ages. It really looks a ton better on me. And yesterday I realized that I could take off some size 12 capris I literally JUST bought without unzipping them. Reed is all aflutter with the possibilities (whatever those might bizarrely be). I got on the scales yesterday and I'm within 3 pounds of my prepreggers weight. Still too much fat not enough muscle, but hey I'll take it. And Monday (if it wasn't cancelled due to lack of interest - gotta check on that) I start a 4 day a week women's bootcamp in the mornings before work.

Last weekend we took a 4 day weekend and went down to Orlando to see Reed's dad and Jeanie who pretty much whooped it up with Betsy while we sat around and watched and ate John's cooking. What else? God I can't even think. Oh, I decided I needed a present and bought myself a 12 pack of bare root astilbes from White Flower Farm in mixed colors and some ferns all of which I put in the ground just before we went to Orlando and are growing gorgeously with all the rain.

The office has assured me that I can have at least the most limited of my part time schemes if I want it on terms I could probably live with if I could look up from work and running around long enough to run numbers. I'm still dithering about what I want to do on that front - but hey, they asked me to come up with something like a reasonable part time policy rather than dictating one to me, and that's a real vote of confidence so I'm gonna do my damnedest. Uh - when I have some free time at work to ask our CFO about the cost of benefits to try and get a grip on what's fair to the company. My new project is a meeting-fest right now so time to do something other than task oriented work has really dried up.

Anyhow, I had a shitty day yesterday, and the car thing has me a bit concerned, but all in all life is pretty good. Don't mind me too much.
