Andy Hunt and Dave Thomas, the Pragmatic Programmers, (one of whom I'm going to see at a conference this weekend) have a lot to say about writing good code. And many of you could not care less about writing good code. But what can be said about writing good code often takes its wisdom from observations of other sociological phenomena. In thisinterview the Pragmatic Programmer guys are ostensibly talking about code, but I find the sociological observations about urban renewal and the space in which you live make me think twice not about my code, but about how I maintain my house.
