I started with the British version of the Register and then went to the Atlantic Monthly back issues. Couple these with some things going on at work where we happen to be on the side of angels, but we participate in an inherently broken contracting system. Become entirely indignant.

Then relax because power inheres to a center and strives to self perpetuate until some sort of destablizing situation occurs. That is the nature of power. It doesn't matter if it makes any of us happy. All that matters is how we live in relation to that fact and anger or indignation doesn't make the sky stop being blue.

Of course, while that while power is what it is, every now and again there's a moment where it can be grabbed and weilded in really interesting ways.
