When I feel particularly out of shape and tired, I console myself that I will NOT be an asshole I vividly remember from one of the biathlons Reed did last year. I was hanging out near the bike pickup and dropoff and there was a guy in great shape with his fat unhappy looking 10 yearold in tow who stood there and bitched to me about how he never had enough time to work out because of his kids. The little boy was obviously sitting there hearing his dad say how unimportant he was and shriveling up inside. This will not be me no matter how bad I want a workout.

God. It's so cold and the only free time I have is between 8 and 10pm these days. I can't wait for spring.
