Hoofnagle. org has been just an indexed place holder for about eight months. That's how long Reed's been gone from RCN. All that time, email reached me through the generousity of the fabulous Rhinelanders who gave us the domain name in the first place.
Now, thanks to more free hosting from the Evans clan, I've got the site back up and under some sort of control. I have also finally accepted that indeed I DONT HAVE TO roll my own journal management scripts just because I am technically capable, I'm using MovableType now, and honestly, people who write blogging software full time do it better than I do. No big surprise there.
So what's going to happen to the livejournal account? For a while I'll probably put links in it to new entries. Eventually I'll get around to putting up an RSS feed so I don't have to do even that little extra work.
Regardless, It's good to have a website again and not just an account somewhere. Presumably I'll do something good with the design of this soon.
